Some times the storm comes out of nowhere.

This weekend we’ve been dealing with some emotional turmoil. Me and Emma both! She has some times of frustration and depression. And so do I. So she had a cry and we talked. We plan to try to relax and maybe go to the children’s museum and just have fun.
The stress of being a “sick kid” (got that one from Devree Hamblin) can really get to you as well as being the “strong” mom can get to me!
We do have such wonderful family and friends who we know are praying for us and who continually let us know they care.
Emma and I both find joy in baby David! His squeal and laugh are infectious! His baby kisses slobbery and his smile pure sunshine!
Small steps, one foot in front of the other.

One step at a time in pretty pink flops makes it that much easier!

Hang in there, the both of you. We think of you often and pray that you will have the strength to get through this hard time. At least you have little David to cheer you both. You must be more than half way done with the radiation, right?!

Love the shoe picture. I am really into shoe pictures. When our burden is to heavy, it helps to share it with Jesus and with each other. Much Love.

I like your picture. It reminds me of the poem “Footprints”. If you don’t know this poem, let me know and I’ll send it to you. Wish we weren’t so far away but oh, do we pray – for you, Emma, and your whole family. A good cry helps too…

    Love, Aunt Gloria
